Bobbie Bullock-Smith ASL Interpreter Scholarship

Criteria:

• Candidate may be a full-time or part-time student

• Candidate must be enrolled in the American Sign Language (ASL) degree or certificate program at TCC

• Candidate must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 or higher

• Candidate must have completed a minimum of 10 credits toward the ASL degree and/or certificate

• Candidate must submit a brief essay (250 word minimum) outlining career aspirations upon graduation, particularly as an ASL interpreter

• Preference will be given to students who plan to work in the school or healthcare system as an interpreter upon graduation
