Josh Hastings Memorial Theatre Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2008 by the friends of Joshua Hastings. Josh was a student at the Chesapeake Campus who passed away in February 2008. The scholarship was established to honor his positive contributions to the TCC Theatre program and to recognize students who share his attributes. The scholarship funds should be used for tuition, books and fees.

Criteria:

• Student must be pursuing a career studies certificate in Performance Theatre or Technical Theatre at Tidewater Community College, or be an active participant in the TCC Theatre program.

• Returning students must have completed at least 6 credit hours and earned a minimum GPA of 3.0 in Theatre Arts classes, new and continuing students are eligible to apply.

• Student must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.0.
