Betty L. Shores Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 1988 in remembrance of Betty L. Shores, a distinguished professor of mathematics and an active faculty member for sixteen years at the Virginia Beach Campus. The scholarship may be applied toward tuition, books and fees for two consecutive semesters.

Criteria:

• Student must be a declared Mathematics, Engineering, Natural Science, or Health Science major.

• Student must have completed at least two semesters at TCC
• Student must be enrolled in at least six credit hours per semester

• Student must have a GPA of 3.0 or better in declared field and overall

• Student must be attending the Virginia Beach Campus
