Carter Machinery Company and Caterpillar, Inc. Diesel Technology Scholarship

It is the desire of the Carter Machinery Company to establish a partnership with Tidewater Community College Educational Foundation through the establishment of a Scholarship and program funding for the advancement of students looking to improve skills via continuing education in the diesel technology program. The scholarship money may be used for tuition, books, or fees. Funds may be awarded for the fall or spring semester. Any unused portion of the scholarship must be returned to the scholarship account at TCCEF for use for future student scholarships.

It is the intent of Carter Machinery Company to make this scholarship available for exemplary students who have demonstrated a strong work ethic, a drive to succeed, and a commitment to education. Scholarship award criteria and selection processes are as follows:
A. Must be enrolled in diesel technology program
B. Must maintain at least a 2.5 GPA
