Michael J. French, Jr. Memorial Engineering Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2005 by the TCC Engineering Club in honor of Michael J. French, Jr., an outstanding student who passed away in 2004. The scholarship is intended to support excellent students pursuing careers in engineering through TCC’s Engineering program.
Criteria:
- Student may be attending full-time or part-time,
- Student must list Engineering (831) as his/her major on TCC records
- Student must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. In the case of no other eligible applicants, a GPA of 2.75 or higher will be considered eligible.
- Student must have completed at least 12 credits at TCC
- Student must have completed MTH 173 and EGR 120 or their equivalents
- Student must be enrolled for at least 6 credits at TCC that apply toward the A.S. degree in Engineering during the semester in which the scholarship is to be used.
