Larry R. Jenkins Scholarship

It is the desire of Terry Jenkins to establish an expendable scholarship in memory of her husband, which shall be called the Larry R. Jenkins Scholarship. Dr. Jenkins was a professor of psychology at the Chesapeake Campus.

3. The scholarship award criteria is as follows:
a. Must be a student at the Chesapeake Campus. Can be one (1) full time student or two (2) part time students. Scholarship for tuition, fees and books only depending on availability of funds.
b. Minimum GPA of 3.0
c. Student needs to be enrolled in a College/University Transfer degree program, i.e. Associate in )\rts
(Liberal Arts) or Associate in Science (Social Science) with an emphasis in Psychology.
d. Express intention to pursue a baccalaureate degree at a four year institution.
e. Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours per regular semester
f. New or continuing student
g. Student must send acknowledgment letter to donor at time of award. Original letter will be sent to the Development Office at 121 College Place, Norfolk, VA 23510
h. Funds may be added at any time to increase the amount of the expendable scholarship.
