Cowden-Knight Memorial Scholarship

The TCC Chesapeake Campus established the Cowden Memorial Fund to honor the memory of Dr. Gerald D. Cowden, professor of history.

Criteria
• Attend Tidewater Community College’s Chesapeake campus full-time.
• Enrolled in the AA Degree Program in Liberal Arts or the AS Degree Program in Sciences.
• Plan to transfer to a senior institution to finish a baccalaureate degree.
• Completed at least 15 semester credits at Tidewater Community College.
• Have a GPA of 3.2 or higher
