Yolanda C. Lanny Hampel, Ph.D. Nurse Aide Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2008 by the family and friends of Yolanda C. Lanny Hampel, a long-time member of the nursing faculty at the Virginia Beach Campus as well as an active member of the Virginia Beach community. Scholarship funds can be applied to tuition, books, fees and other expenses associated with the CNA program.

Criteria:

• Student must be enrolled in the CNA Program at Tidewater Community College

• Student can be a full-time or part-time

• Student must have not yet met the cost of attendance

• Student must submit a letter of recommendation from the Nurse Aide program director, indicating how the student will benefit from this award and the approximate amount needed to meet that student’s need.
