Genevieve Greer Memorial Scholarship for Returning Students

This scholarship was established by TCC Professor Mark Greer in 2007 in honor and in memory of his mother, Genevieve Greer. This endowed scholarship is meant to support students who are pursuing higher education for the first time at a later point in life, or who are returning to school after an absence. Funds should be used for tuition, books, fees and other expenses associated with pursuing a degree at Tidewater Community College.

Criteria:

• Student must be a female who is 25 years of age or older

• Student can be a full-time or part-time student carrying at least 9 credit hours

• Student must have not yet met the cost of attendance for the year
